Had a hunt online but can't see much help on how loud each turbo is.
Odd consideration, I know, but living in a block of flats i'd like a quiet turbo trainer/rollers etc to get some winter fitness time in.

The couple i've tried have been pretty noisy - not maybe to the ear but the kind of noise that will run downstairs through the floor easily, but this was a few years ago. Had an exercise bike once that was terrible, i'm sure you could hear that 3 floors down....

Anybody have any suggestions?

Fluid resistance units tend to be quieter, I have a kurt kinetic road machine, reasonably quiet but no turbo's are silent. Turbo specific tyre also helps reduce noise a little.

Probably worth getting some of those interlocking gym mats to go underneath it as well, I keep meaning to buy some but haven't got round to it yet.
