I've seen a 2nd hand racer I quite like the look of, its a 25 inch frame, will it be too big for me? I'm 6ft

25 = about 64 cm so probably too big
Can vary though see here for rough chart and measure your inside leg.
You can possibly go up or down one size with longer/shorter stem but depends
