I snagged the cable on my pushloc yesterday and thought I'd just pulled the cable back through the grub screw. But, looks like it is something more serious inside the lever mechanism itself.
The cable still threads through it, but the lever now moves freely without pulling the cable through the housing, eg it doesnt activate the lock itself on the forks. Something has either broken inside or I am being particularly dumb...
To be honest, I wasnt a big fan of it anyway, and looks like a new unit is around £100 !!!! So secondary question is how easy is it to convert my Revs back to a normal fork lockout without buying a new damping unit.
I've heard these are a bit prone. I bought some new forks with one but never fitted it. Instead I disabled the spring in my damper (as per Peter Poddy's guide) and manually turn the knob at the top, although I must admit I rarely use it. The proper replacement knobs are £28 quid form TFT tuned for an aluminium cap!
If you decide to replace your poploc I have a brand new poploc (never fitted) that I was planning on selling off? It is dead easy to make it convert to a manual lockout though.
Thanks, do you have a link to Peter Poddy's guide? That would also be useful as Merlin as selling Revs with remotes for a good price, but I dont want another remote....
What do you want for your poploc (and is it the nice looking silver one, not the plastic one that came with Toras etc)?

(with thanks to Peter Poddy)
I'm afraid it's just the black plastic ones that came weith a set of the Merlin Revelations as it happens!
Cheers, looks like I'll forget about the remote and do the same conversion on some new forks from Merlin. Shame the top caps are so pricy
