Anyone comment on how they compare to Hunts? I've 2 sent of Hunt road/gravel wheels for the gravel bike, and a set of Trail-Wides for the FS. Generally, been really happy with them but have rim dings on 2 of the 3 sets. Are the SILT wheels basically Hunt-a-like catalogue jobbies, or are they genuinely better (certainly from a rim-robustness POV)?

Also, how much of a battering would the XC wheels take ... would they be OK for general trail riding and some light enduro (for a 75kg, somewhat mincy rider)?

hmmm, £75 for a new freehub on my cheap and cheerful OEM wheel or just buy a new for £160 (As much as I could locate a 2nd hand Hope rear wheel for..)

Any reviews of the AM wheels?

Last time I looked, Silt were Chosen hubs on Kinlin rims, and Hunt were Novatec Hubs.

I'd be looking at the JRA Core (prebuilt) series with Bitex hubs for £4 more https://www.justridingalong.com/product-tag/core-series/

Hunt have moved some models over to Hubsmith hubs now, but essentially yes.

I've got 2 sets of the XC Alloys,  one on my Scale and the other on my lads Scale. Mine have done over 1500km of racing, riding and training through last winter and this "summer" including rather a lot of bashing round Afan and the like, and they're still as true as the day i got them and perfectly straight with no dings.

I'm 79kg as I said on a Scott Scale and they run 2.2" conti CrossKing / RaceKing combo at 22/24psi F/R.

For similar wheeled context, I'd say they're as good as my DT Swiss XR17000 Spline 25's I have on my other bike, far better than the Hope Hoops with Crests I've had previously, so if I needed more I'd definitiely get another set, now if only they'd discount the carbons.

There ok but not great

They are indeed plucked from a catalogue

The hubs are OK not the best Ratchet design but OK

The rins are soft run an insert

This is really why Ive been keeping an eye on their website!

But good to see some opinions of Silt wheels on this thread as I havent seen too much in the way of feedback on them....normally Hunt is the name to come up on wheel threads and their feedback hasnt been overly positive Ive been noticing of late
