Is there any advantage between this and a cheapie one? Never used one in the past (normally get on okay with baby-wipes. There is nothing a baby wipe won’t clean).

I'd prefer to take it off, dump the whole chain in plastic bottle with solvent and give it a good shaking. I did have one of these cleaners, but found the chain coming out caused the cleaning solution to get everywhere.

Its one of only 2 Park tools I own as it was really cheap when I got it a few years back. Park stuff is too expensive for me most of the time, I'm a Lifeline/ Brand X level tool buyer in general.😁👍

It works very well imo and the bits of metal it picks up with the magnet is both surprising and reassuring. There is no comparison between this and wet wipes... Imo of course!

With care, there is no spillage at all.

Its fast and efficient. Good psa op.

These are excellent.

I've previously had a cheapie which fell to bits and this is better made and is very rapid too.

100% recommended!

I've got one of these bought years ago. Handle fell off yonks ago but it's the best cleaning one having had a couple of others.
Usually take the chain off and shake in a container these days, well when I ride the bike lol.

Never heard of shaking chain in a bottle, what solution are you using.
