Can you create a route on strava or garmin connect and send it via Bluetooth to the device as a gpx

Not sure you can send directly via Bluetooth. Mine is connected to the internet via my phone, so it pulls routes from Strava if I use the widget for it. Or, if I star the routes on Strava it pulls them automatically whenever the device syncs which it does via phone. End result is the same though - you don't have to connect it to a computer to get routes on and off it.

Yes you can, if the gpx file is being sent from Garmin Connect (as above). Do it all the time whilst away with the van and no wifi or computer.

Yes. Send .gpx file from Strava, Komot, OS maps etc to Garmin Connect...

Alternatively, download the Komoot app from Garmin Connect IQ Store onto your Garmin device and access any tours you've planned or saved in Komoot.

+1. It's a bit of a faff from RWGPS - download the route from the website, upload to the Garmin connect website (not app), open the app then send to the device. Then do it all again because I downloaded a FIT rather than GPX file. But it does work.

Battery life on mine seems to have been getting worse, but last time out I noticed it seemed to stay at 0 for a good while. Tested it yesterday by fully charging it, then set it recording and navigating with everything on. It lasted 11 hrs 23 mins, the last 5 1/2 hours had the battery indicator at 0%.  I'm going to try the hard reset today to see if that helps.  How the hell the gauge can be so far off is beyond me!

@ransos – thanks for this – be interested in how you get on.

Right. Following the reset, it now turns off shortly after reaching 0%, as you would expect. However, it shows 100% before it's fully charged. If I ignore it and leave it plugged in for a few hours, battery life seems much better. I did a four hour ride today with nav, phone and hrm connected. Finished with 56% left indicating about eight hours on a full charge. Which seems pretty good.
