HSBC are doing free British Cycling Fan membership for account holders for the moment, which gives you the Halfords / CRC / Evans discounts. You can also join the higher tier memberships and the Fan membership value will be deducted.

Thanks! In case anyone else tries it, you need to use the first 6 digits of your card number in the promo field.

Barely worth the effort though. It used to give 10% off £100 at CRC...not any more

Worth it for the public liability insurance and legal support. Halfords discount is a bit of a pain but its the same for CyclingUK so its obviously a change at Halfords end.

This is for Fan membership so doesn't include the liability insurance from what I understand?

You'll be a bit disappointed.....a few discounts at shops and a weekly spam email. That's about your lot.

As mentioned, I believe if you select a higher tier membership (i.e. with insurance) you get the Fan membership amount as discount - so Commute membership is only £13.

Halfords will normally price match too, so you can get stuff for 10% less than CRC etc. (where stocked).

You don’t need to be a HSBC customer just using 465945 as the first 6 numbers of the card should work
