[#8268522]

Adverts popping up on FB, when I went to my long-expired account and clicked in the renewal tab it automatically took me to the offer which is valid til the end of the month, so it doesn't seem to need a specific access route or code.

Normally £60 annually or £6.99 a month.

It's a one off payment too, there is no auto renew which is good + don't need to remember to cancel if it turns out to be naff.

ITV4 are picking up more and more cycling and the grand tours, and have finally ditched the Statler and Waldorf commentary, but for 20 quid I think it's worth it for the races they don't carry such as the classics, plus the portability of the player app.

I ditched all my Virgin sports package when I got made redundant 12 months ago and havent felt the desire to pay £60 a month to get it back, so this is great especially for the classics etc.

are they still wedded to Silverlight (a media package not even it's creators support anymore!!!) coz it doesnt run on Chromebooks.

I had Eurosport for a month a year ago and then dumped it because it either didnt work on the chromebooks or was terribly flakey on Android.

EDIT: Just checked, nope still using Silverlight FFS
http://uk.eurosportplayer.com/faq.shtml?qid=39

Microsoft announced the end of life of Silverlight 5 in 2012. In 2013, Microsoft announced that they had ceased development of Silverlight except for patches and bugfixes. Microsoft has set the support end date for Silverlight 5 to be October 2021.[6] Silverlight is no longer supported in Google Chrome since September 2015

shower of crap.

Is that why I had a message on my smart telly saying that it was no longer possible to view it?
Also, as far as I could see I couldn't watch it on my Android tablet. At least it wouldn't work.
Ditched it at the end of the summer. Might go back I it works .
