Worth a thread on its own - crazy cheap and as a fan of lower rise bars, these suit me perfectly

Also cheap 24mm pressfit BB's

I really didn't want to spend any more, but I now have the low and medium rise brand x bars on the way, thanks.

Been wanting to try some lower rise bars on one of my bikes.

Hopefully they'll honour those £3 BBs as well - blue will look great on my bike 👌

I bought the nukeproof carbon V2 for £50 a few weeks back and was happy. Subsequently on the first ride with them I had a crap stack and put a big gouge in them. Don't trust them so replaced them with the alloy version

Hopefully the 25s or 38s get cheap. Will keep my finger poised.

What's the 24mm reference on the nukeproof BBs?

If they're 68mm they'll be ok for a road frame no?

Are road and MTB the same? (diameter)

I nearly bought the Brand X road bars, even measured up my current bars (which appear to be 43cm???) but chickened out as one reviewer said they felt worryingly flexy and another reviewer snapped a set. Plus I don't need any.

To hell with it, i dont fing care. Just bought 2x Ragley bars at a fiver each so stuffed if im now buying a carbon one too.

If a Renthal carbon or alloy comes up at a tenner I'd consider that, but outwith such I'm not spending on another bar

Never had carbon bars before, how careful do I need to be when torquing up the stem bolts?

Picked up the Brand X bars but can’t see any torque rating mentioned.

I ordered a few sets to share with friends and family

Herpes have apparently tried to deliver it today and failed to get access to the property - despite being on a road with no obstructions at all and being in all day.

Don't hold out much hope of getting them now!

@funkybaj you just want to nip them shut. I'd do it by feel but if I was to suggest the torques it would be between 5-7nm.

Seen how much they are charging now….reassuringly expensive again. Like the pedals that where £50 that are now £100
