Four coats for me, the mrs and the kids! Total incl postage is 45 quid and then there's 6% cash back. Won't we all look dandy in our matching outfits! Come on children and mind the dogs*&t.
Good find poster! However I may be overcome with sweatshop guilt in which case it'll all be your fault 😉
Awesome, thanks for the code.
kerchow..! I've gone for the blinging shiny 'caught out' synthetic down jacket... shaamone
£19.85 at checkout..
would be interesting to get some feedback once these jackets are received and used.
the last linky that someone put up for a Dare jacket - I bought one. Lovely looking and dead cheap. The black one with white zips... anyway, quality is rubbish. Fit is good though (except the hood). breathable isn't the word, it's like a string vest and now after only 4 rides the velcro is destroying the fabric around the cuffs.
Think that I'll stick with Mountain Equipment for proper gear! Tried just about all makes and these, for me, are clear winners!
Thanks for the posts though! I can't complain too much though, I wasn't expecting too much for £30?
Thanks for the heads up and code chaps
One for me and one for the wife.
Splendid bargain we didn't really need.
Yet another jacket bought and added to the collection. Dunno what the quality will be like but for these prices one shouldn't complain now should one? *sees wife's face as yet another parcel arrives...eek*

Poss the QC isn't great? I got one of the same and it's spot on.
I'm never turning up for a forum ride; I couldn't get over the shame of everyone kitted out in the same Team STW/D2B "uniforms"
i coat for me and 6 for the kids for cycling [ not all my kids mind] for £75 not bad at all
Still seems to be plenty of these (is the retail price actually realistic?)
Anyway here's another one that seems similar without the daft print, anyone know if it's similar? (bar lack of pit zips) - it may be a bit more wintry/heavier.

thanks for the link just bought two when you pay via paypal it says regatta ltd so you could compare to those jackets.
Just bought the thaw out, bargaintastic!
Cheers
my velcro pulltabs on the cuff have delaminated 🙁 so now have a flap and the velcro loose underneath!!
Is there a guide on sizing?
Cool hand Luke - can I ask whether your good wide ordered a mens jacket and what size she went for? What size would should normally wear - just want to get an idea of sizing.
Also, what's the delivery time on these jackets?
Cheers all
so how's the fit for cycling in? non cycling kit tends to be too short in the arms and back
And too long/fat in the belly.
I'm prob not ordering one, while it's v cheap my experience of this kit km TKMax etc suggests it's a par below other brands, and I demand peak performance!
This looks quite promising as my ski jacket it way too big for me. What are soft shells like in actual snow? Would I be able to use one of these as a top layer for a skiing trip in a couple of weeks, or would it not cut the mustard?
Thanks for the PSA, needing some warm clothes so have stocked up! Hopefully the quality and fit will be ok, but don't forget you can always send it back if it's not!
It should be alright I_ache, mine is very windproof, and it isn't even one of the snow specific jackets. Should be fine in dry snow, but you might get a bit damp if you're lying down a lot in slushy wet snow.
I ache I'd think they could be pretty good but I'd guess you'd need a few layers underneath.
Received the "Instinctive" soft-shell in the post yesterday - paid £15 delivered. First impressions are really good. Not ridden in it yet so can't comment on performance but fit and fabric are killer for the price. Only drawbacks for me are: could be longer in the body (i'm 6'2" and size is M) and it's not especially light...but what do you expect for £15??
My order arrived today.
Most of the stuff seems great quality, I ordered a couple of the £6 "pace maker" tops and they're great- good fit and nice material, I'd think they were pretty good at £15 to be honest. Also ordered 2 softshells, and a furrry lined jacket. The jacket is brilliant, its really warm, a good fit, nice and long and seems great quality. The two softshells aren't quite so good- the fit is pretty baggy, especially in the arms and around the stomach. I don't think I'd be at all comfortable riding in them, so I'm going to send them back. The material seems pretty nice and there's some nice design features, so a little sad that they don't fit so well!
I ordered medium and should've probably gone for small for riding in (I can get a fair few layers under the jacket, so that's okay), I'm tempted to re-order in a small, hopefully they'll have another voucher up before all the stock has gone. For reference I'm usually a medium in Gore/ DHB stuff, so the Dare2B is more of a casual than a "cycling" fit.
it's not especially light

Having tried many softshells, this is all too common - heavy fabric does not breathe as well and...well...feels heavy! IME the better stuff is worth paying for for this type of garment.
Ours arrived today and they look good, happy with mine, would be fab for skiing.
My medium Thaw-out arrived today, its a lot fluffier inside than I was expecting!
Would be way too hot for riding in.
Its ok in the arms and the shoulders, but doesn't fit round my bum, even though I'm skinny, so its going back.
I got mine yesterday and It's fairly decent for the money but definately not worth the RRP.I had a wee pedal in mine today and Its fine with a T shirt underneath on a cold day. Not much good for folding and sticking in a camleback but a real bargain all the same.
I don't need another softshell so I picked up a quilted jacket for £15 plus p+p.. it arrived this morning
If I'd seen this at £20 RRP I certainly wouldn't have given it a second look.. but because it was reduced from £80 or something I thought that it might have fabrics or features that would make it worth a punt..
err.. I was wrong.. it appears to be a jacket made of offcuts from tesco value sleeping bags.. it's not a bargain it is an averagely priced cheap coat
disappointing
