I truly wish that some budget budget wheels taking over 4 working days to be delivered was the sum total of some of my friends problems.

Haha! Wheels that were probably only purchased due to the price.

I was shocked how quick my SS wheels have turned up, considering I've been waiting ages for other purchases in recent weeks.

My wheels arrived! Turns out idiot here ordered a SRAM free hub when I need Shimano! Is this an easy fix? Will the freehub off other wheels just fit in if I can remove the SRAM one?

Just picked up a set of wheels for the gravel bike for £55 including DPD delivery. That's crazy! Too good to miss, although the circumstances are a shame.

Dammit! I didn’t see that option when I got mine for the road/gravel so ordered the i19 versions for £68. I feel robbed now ;-). Would rather have had the i23 but not going to worry about it.

Update: Received the isotopes today. The V6 Hubs seem well built. Although, rear wheel has significant drag. The bearings aren't spinning anywhere near as smooth as the ones in the front wheel. I've reported it to Superstar so we'll see what they say..

Wish I'd not seen this......

I already got a set of silver Pave road wheels for a little steel road project and then the isotopes after I managed to get the BFe Max Frame deal on Cycle to work. Dead impressed with both wheelsets so £55 for a set of winter wheels for the gravel bike.....rude not!

£245 for 3 sets of wheels is stupidly good!

@daverhp Any idea of the weight of those wheels?
Just trying to decide if they'll be any better than the one's I've currently got on my Boardman.

Set of QR road disc shimano wheels ordered Thursday, arrived 9am Saturday for £55.
Had plenty of SS wheels in the past, be er had any issues so these seem bargain of the year.

@crossed i23 rims, v3 hubs and sram freehub came in at 1930g. I was expecting them to be over 2kg tbh so very happy for £55

1955g for me with QR endcaps. Pretty heavy, but can't complain at £55.

Thanks guys. I ordered a set anyway, can't really go wrong at £55 a set and they've got to be better than the current wheels.

mine arrived after 10 days, after being told they were sent the day after i ordered them.
i sold them immediately for a tenner less than i paid.
i had sorted some proper handbuilt wheels from a local cycle shop in the meantime, which i should have done to start with.

Thread resurrection 😁

I finally got around to setting up my V3 + WTB i25 £55 wheels tubeless...it's been a busy spring!

First ride today, did 105km of mixed road and gravel on them, and very impressed. No pinging of spokes (shows they were properly pre-stressed while being built) and stayed true.
Very smooth bearings, and a nice buzzy, but not too loud freewheel.
A massive improvement on the stock wheels on my Genesis Vagabond 👍

Ultra arc v6 wheelset here, 125 quid. Fitted to my camino last month and probably the best wheels I've used. Absolutely love them.

My only issue with them is that the hub logo doesn't line up with the valve hole 😬 😆

Triggers my wheel-building ocd a bit!

On the off chance someone didn't fit theirs and wants to move them on then I'm on the lookout for boost hubs and wide (ish) rims.

@cp where in the country are you?
I’ve got a set I might be wanting to sell but won’t be posting them.

@cp I've a set that will be selling as soon as I've finished building their replacements. Used as a stop gap to try 29 on a b+ bike. Will have been used < 10 times.

Another set of 27.5” here but 15x100 and 12x142. Unused. Was going to gravgrav them but nothing happened.

And if someone wants more bizarre specced ones - I have Isotope 29er on V6 hubs with 12/100mm front and 12/142 rear, brand new and boxed due to ordering error, was going to put them on gravel bike but possibly a bit overkill for that.

Blood, sweat and tears this weekend setting a pair of xx27s (fuel hubs) up tubeless. Thumbs are ****ed!

Bit of a long shot, but I'm after a front 29" 100x15 wheel if anyone didn't use theirs from superstar components.

(Yes, I started another thread last week re a front wheel, and although I managed to get a wheel from the incredibly helpful @fazzini....it was boost unfortunately so I'm still on the lookout hence i stumbled across this thread)
