I'm 5'11 and looking to buy Shan 26''frame. Ride Evil Sovereign at moment which come up small. Around 580mm horizontal tt length. There is an xl shan on pinkbike at moment (also large on there but guy not responding to messages). Has anyone got any experience of riding xl shan?

No experience on XL but I have a mate with a size L who is about 6' tall and he reckons it's perfect running a 50mm stem. Having had a go, and also 6', I would concur.
You may be able to use an ultra short stem to combat the extra TT/reach length and stand over probably wouldn't be an issue but it's worth looking at seat tube length if you're planning on using a dropper. Anything over 19" for me and I can't get a 125mm dropper low enough at full extension!

I'm 5'10" and a large is spot on for me.
I have a large and I'm 6'2 - Id definitely say the XL would be too big for you

From his eulogy and general lyrical waxing of the Shan I would suggest it may have to be dragged from his cold, dead, rigor mortised fingers first...!
