Hi,
Not too pretty over here weather wise and with only one week to go to our road trip (Lomond, Lawers) and just a smidge a bit longer to SSEC in Evanton I thought that I can start collecting some intel.
So how bad - or good - it is weather and riding/camping condition wise up North at the mo?

Actually, here in Aberdeen it's been warm and sunny today 😀
I rode the course tonight and its in brilliant condition. Its been mostly dry up here for weeks and no midges as of yet.

Been very mild in the evenings, the only camping essential you have to remember to pack is single malt.
Of course we could have snow by then ...
And if you want a big mountain day you can do Ben Wyvis in a loop from the campsite. Will try and get you a gpx.
