Does anyone have a photo of how this should be mounted please?

I have found that it fits differently on different make/model of bars. However i was told by a few LBS's that the silver lever should push forward or backwards not down,,, something to do with health and safety 🙄

Ooooh, mine pushes kinda downwards. I might go and adjust that immediately! Or not.
I guess you just need to set it how it feels comfortable, so you can reach it without too much bother. I've got the silver one and it sit's just inboard of my brake lever.
