What's wrong with the one that came with it?
Yes I am aware of the stories of unattended chargers going pfft and also of batteries and chargers failing.
I've had no problems in over a year with my Cree XML T6 lamp and battery but thinking about getting a solarstorm x2 for the helmet and just wondered if there was a genuine reason for change with the x2's in particular?
The charger that came with my Solarstorm X2 has a CE mark and a UL Listed mark too. There is absolutely no way it is UL Listed, and I wouldn't plug it in in my house. Luckily I have a suitable charger that came with my V2 XML from mtbbatteries. The Solarstorm X2 battery is adequate, but only that.
I got the Solarstorm battery holder and use quality protected cells and a proper smart charger, my run time has doubled and it's as safe as you get.
