The Flite saddle (the reissue of the original design) on my road bike will not stop creaking. Process of elimination means I know it is the saddle not the seat post of other such things. Any ideas on how to stop it?

Bit of lube on the rails where the post clamps it?

And also some where the rails are attached to the seat in the plastic housing, it's usually the rail housing that gets washed with crud and then begins to creak and groan

That is always what has ended up creaking with my saddles. Really good clean and a blast with GT85 should sort it.
