Was looking to grab some co2 cartridges in their sale, but the delivery is 6.99 minimum, completely eroding any discount.
Is this because you can't send these cartridges through standard mail? Do all bike shops selling these have similarly high postage?

Have a look on ebay, I just got some more. 20 x 16g about £22 delivered

Compressed gas can't be sent through royal mail. It's on the restricted items list.
Occasionally forks and rear shocks also get 'disposed of' if not declared properly, comes up as a thread every now and again.

Courier only.

Thanks monkeyboyjc, it's what I suspected. Looks like I have to suck it up.
Not sure how ebay sellers are avoiding that unless they're unaware of the rules... Bit of a risk I guess

Yes it can, so long as you are on a contract, those rules only apply to the public. Same way couriers won't carry this or that for us but still allow companies to send aerosols, shocks or whatever.

No, it's £3.99 for most small orders.
