Planet X / Carnac socks - thoughts

I have a job lot of Planet X 365 socks from a few years ago which are good quality but rather thick.

I'm looking for some thinner socks with the summer (Hopefully) approaching and am looking at the Carnac socks - https://www.planetx.co.uk/products/carnac-stripe-perform-cycling-socks-white-zesty-lime

Has anyone used these and are they (a) thin enough for summer? (b) as good quality as the old Planet X 365 socks?

I’ve got the black/red version and consider them too hot for summer tbh. I suggest something made with coolmax.
