Greetings, I am going to be up in Bridlington over Christmas with the Family, keen to get out on the Moutnain Bike for a day while I'm there.

Any places I should explore?

I've done a very small amount on the Wolds in that area on a MTB and I'd say don't bother especially in winter.
A cross bike would be ace though as the roads are mostly quiet and plenty of field edge paths to use and oddities to go an look at. Monuments, follies and standing stones.

Not done any of the coastal paths but otherwise Dalby.
I'm more likely to take the road/cross bike this Xmas rather than get caked in mud as I'm a little bored of that at the moment.

Just ride away, anywhere.

You're probably best off having a drive up to Dalby, to be honest - it'll be about an hour away. There's little of interest over the Wolds, but that'll be a horrific bogfest at the moment.
