just tried fitting my old ritchey one,would't fit,maybe require different sort.

The frame got to you ok.
1 1/8 King Bling came out of that frame, so any 1 1/8 will go in.

My 1 1/8th King headset fitted my Sirius without any problems. Doesn't need an integrated headset.
