Persevering with some tyres or just change them?

I'd put up with them if they are offering better grip. I find my Minion's draggy, compared to Nobby Nics, but the Nobby's I'll use for distance, the Minions for everywhere I need good reliable grip.

This time of year is pretty draggy. Could be that clouding your impression.

@kayak23 - fair point - the tyre change coincided with the rain, so could be a bit of a double whammy which is clouding the issue

find them quite draggy (for an xc tyre), but nonetheless gonna stick with them until spring/it dries out. That’s when I’ll try my new barzos.

Following some recent tyre exploits, if tyres just don't feel right for whatever reason, sack them and try something else (budget and time allowing of course)...

When I used(!) to ride some tyres only lasted one ride before they were chucked on the tyre pile in the shed. 🙂

while @kayak23 is right, everything is draggy in the winter, I've never got on with Spesh tyres, they're proper curate eggs.  They seem to manage to be both draggy and not grippy at the same time, or very fast but dead feeling, or very heavy and very fragile.

It's a skill.

I love a bargain grid tyre. I don't find them draggy and also more protection than most. Currently running a fast trak but also love the old slaughters!
