All,

Likely to go this year for the first time this year. Looking forward it. Do any of the villages give better access to decent XC rather than full downhill or indeed a mixture of the two. Looking for a couple of 15-20 milers to do in the days after the main ride.

Or are they all pretty much the same?

Thanks

Was in Chatel last year and there are some good xc trails
Don't know the guys above^^^^^ but Trev @ http://summitdown.com/passportes/ knows his way around the area. The trail in the pic is accessed from the Super Chatel lift, turn left out of the lift.

I stayed in morzinelast year and it seems to have good access to everywhere, so that would be my choice

Thanks guys. Morzine is booked. Was only able to get registered for Avoriaz so it'll be an early morning taxi ride.
