Anyone reccommend the best way to paint a frame that looks a little worse for wear.

Its currently stripped down, i was thinking powder coating or anodizing??

Can anyone reccomend a good place to get this done?

Powder coating is the way to go with an MTB frame. Get a local powdercoater to do it (see yellow pages). You might have to take it to a bike ahop after for them to chase the BB etc after.

Another vote for powdercoating here, done right it's a very nice finish and it's tough, too. I'd recommend Triple S myself, but there's loads of places that'll do a good job. Just make sure they understand what they're doing with bike frames, you'd not be the first to get it back and discover all the threads are nicely coated over.

How much does a frame cost roughly for a powder coating?

Armourtex run a special bike frame service so look after frames.

approx £60 per frame and forks + extra for sparkle or clear top coats.. includes cleaning the old finish off etc
