3 weeks ago i landed a jump a little hard on my left hand - the bar jard the heel of my left lumb - initial pain and then was ok. Now over the ;ast few weeks (and increasingly 3 days) th pain has worsened and now my hand/foream and shoulder (tricep head) are hurting like bollox. Dull thudding pain ๐Ÿ™

It hasn't hurt riding really until yesterday (200+ miles since impact)

any ideas? Really i think an xray is required but as its my bday the pub is the better option. Cannot lay on that side without discomfort either so not sleeping well.

"lumb" ? Thumb right? Not lumb as in lumber region (which could be pretty seriouso)

If you felt nausea at the time you might have cracked a bone, but I reckon you'd have a little loss of mobility and swelling in your hand.

Possibly if you have a deep bruise/soft tissue damage it hasn't been allowed to rest properly (+2o0 miles) and your body is letting you know. Could've hit a nerve or some kind of weird Chinese pressure point.. I had an odd humerus injury once that took 3 weeks to develop into a purple tie die effect arm. Anything is possible.

Im not a doctor BTW so if you arm falls off tomorrow its not my fault. Maybe you should see one?

Happy birthday ๐Ÿ™‚

Sounds like nerve. Expect GP to say "don't press your shoulder then"
