got the chance of a swop wot do you guys reckon ive got the recons
dont really know about xc stuff yet

do not bother if your recons work keep em
I have a set of RC39's in my garage which need an oil change and seal replacement, they always needed stripping down and cleaning to keep em working a real pain in the butt

I like my Recons, a bit heavy and pretty basic but bomb proof and easy to service.
I have a 2010 S-Lite set on my HT for general trail riding which I have been pleasantly supprised with.
As Saladdodger says, if they work keep em!
