For various reasons I decided to replace my old geared Inbred frame with a new slot-dropout one.
Yesterday was the old frames last ride:

before being stripped and some of the bits used in the new build:

The new rear caliper position meant that the hose on my Mini was too long so I switched to Deore's instead and used M505 wheels instead of the Hope ones on the old bike. Mostly it's poverty spec - Deore drivechain apart from LX chainset and shifters (originally from my Epic like the bars and stem). Not particularily light for a rigid bike (24lbs or so). Not been riden yet (the tyres are dirty because they came from another bike) but should have it's first run tomorrow.
It's destined to be a winter off-road commuter and will be getting fitted with a rack etc.
Do you still haven the Epic? Cant imagine you without one!
