Does anyone know a (predominantly) off road route from otley to stainburn.
I know I should really just get out there and figure one out but im bored at work and I don't have an OS map

Cheers

Personally I'd just ride up the road to Farnley and turn right by the school to drop down to the reservoir path but if you want more off road you can ride along the river to Leathley, along the farm track to Riffa Woods, up through Stainburn Village turning right and then left when you hit a road until you hit the Gas Offtake at Briscoe Rigg. Over the road and along the muddy track to get to the back of Norwood plantation.

Go down the river, cycle though leathley, head up the hill towards harrogate. Turn left down the track one field AFTER Cinder Lane - it's called Coach Lane. Go through the gates to the road, head up the hill and immediate left alongside Hensan's Beck. Road turns left towards Stainburn. Go past the first house on left and then head down access track through Coppice Wood. When you reach the first house turn right and contour round the hill. You'll find an old track that drops down through a Beck and then up the other side, follow the line until you go through another beck then head u pthe to the top corner of the next field. At that point go through the gate and follow the line straight up the hill to the back of Buttoner House Farm. Join the road, go left to the back of Stainburn Wood (road goes 90 degrees left). Head into the woods, tale the second break to the left (45 degrees); first break left (tyre tracks) and then pop right before the end of the trees (you'll see the gap through a splash). Follow the singletrack through the trees and you come out on the trail which if you turn left takes you to the road at the top of Norwood Edge.
