Thinking of fitting a 32t cassette on to my road bike, running Tigra short cage... will it just fit?

I know that there is a capacity limit on rear mechs, which as I understand it is how much chain it will wrap in the various combinations F & R. Is there another problem as well as this? Obviously a 32 sprocket is bigger than a 28. Would a short cage mech's upper pulley clash with the bigger sprocket? I know that the "B" adjust screw takes account of this to a degree. Except I don't think SRAM use a "B" screw. Otherwise would running a short chain allow a short cage mech to work on a wider range cassette? Though obviously you would have to be VERY careful not to shift to too big a chainring/sprocket combo so as not to jam/rip off your mech?

The pantograph (the parallel plates) on an mtb short cage moves at a steeper angle than a road mech. The b-tension screw fine tunes it relative to chain length and big sprocket size but won't make up for that much. MTB mechs similarly don't always work too well with road casettes.
