Got me a tiddly sized Osprey Viper 7 for regular small rides. Enough space for couple of litres of water, a few tools and keys/phone.
Anyway, there's no rain/mud cover and was wondering if anyone has a cover and what they use? The official cover from Osprey seems to only work with bigger packs.
I've also got a Camelback HAWG NV which is the other end of the scale. Holds everything and more and has the cover. I don't really want to resort to using that every time it's muddy. I just use it for epics and where I need to carry big kit.
I suppose I could cut the Camelbak cover out though it needs an anchor at the base then. It's probably too big for the Viper though.
Or... don't bother. I forget with the Camelbak and it just gets muddy, then I dust it off. Though it takes a bit of a beating with mud in the zips and stuff.
