Does anyone know what the maximum recommended tyre size is? I can't see anything on the Orange site.
I'm off to Les Arcs in August and i've fitted some 2.4" Ardents for the trip. I've ridden a few times with them on with no problems so far, but the gap is very small and i feel it could cause a few issues when pushing it a bit more than i usually do.

ardents come up quite big dont they?. my mate uses 2.4 on front 2.25 back. i know 5s used to come with 2.4s mountain kings but it is a narrow tyre.

They do seem to come up rather large yes. I used to run 2.35" HR's with no problems at all, but the Ardents seem a heck of a lot more than 0.05" wider.
