Right, I am currently running my Ironhorse Mk3 frame, gradually upgrading the parts and have began to look for a new frame. My uncle recently purchased a new frame due to his commencal meta cracking. he has subsequently got a new meta 2011 through warranty. He is therefore selling this and from what he is saying he is only wanting around £500 for this. However for the past few months I have loved the look and reviews of the Turner 5 spot. It looks very similar to the bike i have atm but would cost £1300+ depending on when I purchased, but would not be able to get until at least the summer due to student financial situations, ha. Anyway, what are the stw'ers opinions and what would you do?
Cheers Guys
That depends wholly on whether you still enjoy riding your current bike. If it's a vanity project and you've cash to spare then good luck to you, go out and test ride as many bikes as you can.
My 2004 Enduro has recently been brought back into service and I can honestly say that I love riding it. I do have another more modern bike that's built for a different style of riding. however I've yet to make a convincing argument to sink cash into a 5" travel all day frame.
your iron horse is a very good frame - why change it?
you can if you want to - that's as good a reason as any.
Seconded, the iron horse is allegedly a great frame.
Ventana El-Ciclon quite simillar to a Turner. I love mine.
They are for OAP's though.
