It'll fit a 27.5 x 3. If that helps. Probably not much.

Also not much help as I no longer have the fork so can't measure, but I had it with a 29x2.4 in and there was loads of room. I'd err on the side of a 29x3.0 fitting.

Thanks for the replies.

No link as they aren't available anymore, looking at a secondhand set.

If it's the ones with the weird forward curve on the legs, I've got a set in my loft I can measure if you like!

That would be the ones. I don't want to cause any bother though..

Just had a look, I reckon it would be tight. Using my 700c wheels and a ruler, it looks like there's plenty of height, but only you'd have about 5mm either side of the tyre (less if it's knobbly). The legs get thicker and curve in toward the crown, so the larger the wheelsize, the closer it's going to get. I reckon 650b+ would be fine.

With a tape on top of my 29er Tyre a 2.1” there is 80mm side to side.

i measured my 2.5’s on my other wheels the Tyre outside to outside is 68mm

i think 3” won’t go but unless someone says otherwise I will put the 2.5” in tomorrow night and measure what’s left.

Thanks guys.

I've currently got 3-4mm either side on a set or project 2s, hoping to find a little more clearance and drop a little weight if possible.
