Just a quick question.
I recently lowered my 150 revelations to 130 (for which my 456 summer season handles much better) but I've measured ye stanchion and it's only 120mm. Does this mean I'm only getting 120mm from the fork? If so how do I get it to 130mm? It was the 20mm spacer that was put in to lower it.
Cheers for the help in advance.
Same sort of thing on mine (assuming they are dual air)
cycle them a bit then let all the air out of theneg and all the air out of the pos and then reinflate the pos first and the neg 2nd.
I found they sometimes need a bit to settle in.
Yup, turn bike upside down and let out all negative pressure. When you do this you will notice the fork 'pop' back to full travel. Turn bike upright and (if you know the pressure that should be in there) release all the +ve pressure. Then re-input +ve pressure to correct psi. Turn bike back upside down and put in -ve pressure until you just notice the stanchions beginning to creep back into the fork leg. Note the psi and release a little and pump back up to just below the noted pressure. Fork stanchions will then be fully out and your should get full travel.
However, if you like them really plush over the small stuff you will need to put more in the -ve than the +ve, which will make the fork stanchion 'creep' a little back into the lowers. Just one of those things with separate -ve and +ve chambers I'm afraid
I like the forks to be relatively hard so will give this a try. Cheers for the help guys
