[Closed] On the subject of N+1, Cotic BFe or Cotic X?

I am starting to save money for another bike and I want it to be steel and a **** around bike. I absolutely love my cross bike and would love another excuse to have one, on the other hand my boardman ht pro is fantastic offroad but not exactly trail centre centric which makes me think a BFe with massive forks.

For ~£800 I could get a decent second hand BFe off of the bay or I could get a new cotic X single speed (I love the idea of next to no maintenance) or possible run it as a 1x10/1x9.

Currently I am leaning towards the X mainly because it is more versatile, could be used as a roadie quite easily, a commuter, a cross bike, a tourer etc. whereas the BFe just looks like tonnes and tonnes of fun.
