I've seen a guy riding a *trandem* a couple of times lately. Him on the front, a little girl behind & a little lad at the back. 3 seats, 3 handlebars but not entirely sure it's got 3 cranks as I was driving each time I saw them.
Hand up if It's you.
*only cos that's what the Goodies called theirs.
Crazy to do that in Harrogate... I lived there for 18 months and got pretty sick of almost being mashed through the front grille of landrovers on a regular basis.
Yep, I work in Harrogate and there's no chance I'd ride around town with the kids attached. That's what Valley Gardens is for.
That’s another one for a book thread. Book I read in mid nineties I think, about some guys who rode the original Goodies Trandem across Africa. “Three men on a bike”. Good read.

It was a good read. Interesting to read how bad the ex Goodies trandem was to ride & how many times the hubs fell apart.
I sold my copy at a car boot sale, shouldv'e kept it.
