Just put an offset bush in the rear of my alpine 160 shock. It fits in fine but the bottom of the shock stroke just rests on the shock mount on the bottom on one side.

It doesn't affect the way the shock works and doesn't rub as its a fixed point.

Has anyone else had this problem or used offset bushes in and alpine 160?

That doesnt sound right. Is it sitting slack and not steep I.e fitted wrong way? I wouldnt ride it like you describe

Sitting the correct way, i.e making the shock longer. Only just touches, but might take it out before the ride to work tomorrow.

Sorry. They were in the right way. Meant as in the shock looked longer but had actually been shortened.

Definitely undo it if it's touching, that's not a fixed point if it's the shock itself touching the frame.

Can it go in the top?
