[Closed] offroad from Mach to Dolgellau?

I am flabbergasted........ 🙁

yup I did it on the sustrans route, I did it from dog to mach and it was hellish in terms of hills, I think you saw my comments on it before. I would reckon going the other would much better. There's also several forests in the area so I think there must be a much better offroad route somewhere. The dfyi enduro was through there. Maybe give the mach bike shop a ring or ask on a FB mtb group page based around the area.

Erm, there is the Sarn Helen. I'd not call it pleasant though.

Just thinking about that is scary. Some proper big mountains in the way. Cadair for one. Or were you talking vertical miles??

just hire a van taxi to drive you up but miss out dolgellau altogether and head straight for coed y brenin.
