I'm in a bit of dilemma I use my cyclocross bike mainly on road and I find it very comfortable. Part of me is saying get a proper road bike but the other part is saying stick with the cx and just up the gearing and that way I'm always left with the option of turning it back if need ever arises.

I would am in a similar position. Well, in that I would like to get a bit of darkside in, but shoot off down a bridleway if I fancy it. Hence a CX bike will be my next purchase at some point.
So in summary. Keep the CX.....or if it would fit a short arse of 5'7" sell it to me 😉
