[#10539828]

During a nice wet weekend ride my the nx Eagle 12sp Mech on my new bike stuck in the biggest or 2nd biggest cog. The shifter also stopped doing anything at all. I released cable tension on the Mech and it shifted down to the 11t cog no probs. However the shifter still was not firing.

I replaced the shifter for a gx one and now everything seems to be OK apart from the Mech refusing to shift out of the 50t cog. If I do a bit of back pedalling then it will start shifting down but won't budge on its own accord.

Has anyone else solved this issue?

B-Tension screw setup properly? By that I mean start with the Sram tool (or 15mm gap) and tweak until it works as it should

Probably B screw, I won't ever touch SRAM again after the nightmares I had with it. Unless your B is adjusted to within the recommended midges d*ck good luck getting it to shift properly.

It's not the b screw or the shifter
It's the mech itself .
The pivots get stuck\dry far too easily and mine did it after one wet ride
This can be confirmed by gently pulling the mech and it will change down
Remedy is a drop of wet lube on each of the pivots .best done in a higher gear as you will need to work the mech back and forth with your hand .
Mines been fine since

I've had similar issues. If I remove chain mech works as it should. I thought it was mech pivots sticking too, but not sure... However my kit is 2000 miles plus old & the front sprox/chainring "thin teeth" are very thin! So new sprox & chain, plus overpriced sram jockey wheels (also thin/breaking up) on order. Note it's NX kit & has had several chains in that time.
