[#1675687]

i have a set of mavic Ksyrium wheels and i canot get the rear cassette for fit. Basically no matter when i tighten to the suggested torque (40nm)the cassette still has play in it and i can move rings 1 - 7 - there is a gap of around 2mm. i have fitted cassettes for years and none of the 3 roads sets i have fit which leaves me to think it must be the freebody. any suggestions??

do you need a spacer behind the cassette?

Is it a 9 or 10 speed casette? From memory, if it's a Shimano 9 speed you need a spacer behind 1st that should come with the wheels. Prob somthing like that.

Yes two spacers the mavic (roughly 2mm) spacer and the thin 10 speed spacer if using a 10 speed cassette.

My advice is based on Shimano - **** knows for Campag ๐Ÿ˜†

Just use a HTII BB spacer.
