Hi

I need to use an air hammer to remove a BBInfinite from my Cervelo.

Never used one before and don't fancy buying one for a one off job. Are they a relatively common tool? Where should I look to use one? Wheel and Tyre place? Friendly neighbourhood mechanic? DO bike shops have them?

Or does anybody have one within a reasonable distance of Weybridge in Surrey?

Thanks all!

air hammer - really ? seems brutal.

I have one but im not near surrey.

Car garages are likely to have one - but its unlikely unless your mates with the mech you will get them to touch your bike.

i wouldnt have thought a bike shop would have one.

Yes, does seem brutal, but that's what is needed.

Looks like I might need a friendly car mechanic then!

Powerful power tool, fragile road frame "never done it before" - that's got all the hallmarks of a **** up.

Oh sod that, book it in the LBS.

It does seem that way on first inspection, but this doesn't seem too mad:

Having never used one, they don't seem so daunting given that the tool itself fits snug in the bb.

Just need to find somebody with one nearby or turn up at the local mechanic with a box of tea and some chocolate hobnobs!
