Hello,
Reported with a better title!
I'm hoping someone here can help me out!
I have been looking to get a new frame for some time now & I have finally narrowed it down to a second hand orange alpine or new nukeproof mega!
I am swaying towards the mega, due to a few reasons ( warranty, new frame etc)
I think I have answered my own question, but which would you recommend?
Also, I have seen them on descent-gear website! Does anyone have any experience of using them?

Both great bikes. As you say the mega would have a warranty as to be honest seems a bit of a bargain.
My local is captive bikes, top chap that runs it (Nick). I know he has a demo bike at the min as i was in there today!
Give him a ring, i'm sure he will help you out.
(I have no affiliation to Captiv bikes, just had great service from them)

Showlett,i ordered mine from Si at descent gear on monday.Si is a great bloke and his customer service is excellent,i have had plenty of stuff from him no problem.Si also runs the Halo BDS so im sure plenty of people will know him and can vouch for him also.
I used to have an 09 alpine 160 and it was a toss up between buying another or buying the mega.After a quick spin on a mega i would say it descends just as good as the alpine but it also climbs better than the alpine.Im fitting mine with a CCDB and it works out £700 cheaper than the alpine with CCDB in the colour i wanted.
