I like that. Can't seem to find where you can actually buy it though!

. . . but nothing in the video to show that it can be used to rejoin a chain back together again by pushing the pin back in. Think I'll stick to the traditional design.

$48 seems a lot and tbh I'd rather have it together with my other tools on my multitool.

Ah but you get 4 of the clever tyre levers too...

Well I was fitting a new chain last night, couldn't find my big chain breaker to hand so took out my specialized multi tool and the breaker broke at the first sign of stress. The end plate just pinged off.
This is small, light and hopefully won't break too easily, although I don't like having to use their tyre levers to make it work, and they are big and clunky for a small pack.

>The end plate just pinged off

Just to check, many chain tools have a spread as well as a break position and you were using the break position, right?

As far as I know the end position is for breaking, with the think end plate to push against. That end plate just sheared off.

A clever idea but I'm with Tonyplym...

. . . but nothing in the video to show that it can be used to rejoin a chain back together again by pushing the pin back in...

So I will also be sticking with my current chain breaker ๐Ÿ˜†

Now that is clever

Thought this thread was about making pea and ham soup from a chicken.

Disappointed.
