Dave offers a great service, good price and his work is very good! All my bikes get built & fixed by him!

The only wheels I've had built by a shop were the ones for the tandem - D321's on Hope Big Un's. Andy at Leisure Lakes in Breaston built them in about 1998, and I've never touched them with a spoke key since the day I fitted them, and they're still on the tandem getting soundly thrashed.

I've had wheels from leisure lakes in breasting & Probikes in Hucknall - both have never needed to be touched since their build. In fact, Scott Gamble at Probikes taught me to build wheels, which I have done ever since.

No problem, please do excuse the website though, I know how bad it is, but I'm a bike man not a website man, although it is being sorted.

Dave has built me some MTB wheels and I loved them. Sold the MTB bike now but if i eaver need wheels building I would go back to him. He did the service on my road bike last week and it worked brilliantly last night in my 1st road race. i will definately be returning for any other work I need doing.
