Reminds me of Luke being chased by stormtroopers on Endor.

Is it attached to a helium balloon?

Probably want to avoid stacking if you've got a long metal pole strapped to,your kidneys. Oh wait...

I suppose a spinal brace is as good a place as any to mount one.

It almost looked like the rider was standing in front of a movie screen or something since the rider was clearly in focus, and the surroundings were less so. I really didn't care for it...

Was that background on loop, thought I kept seeing the same bit of woodwork

I'm not sure I want to see it all the time, but good effort for trying something new.

I saw it last night in the small embedded video and thought it was irritating, but I just watched it HD and massive and it was pretty good. Lacking trail sound effects though.

I quite like that.

You see a similar effect in some snowboarding videos when the rider holds a GoPro on a longish pole with it pointing back at him for a selfie. Riders stays in focus and floats about.

e.g. first few seconds of my mate's video here:

Did Luke crash and roll around the floor?

Clearly I'm in the minority, but I like it. Quite happy for other people to get the footage with a pole stuck to their backs though.
