I'm a UK size 10, wear 45 in most cycling brands (Shimano, Lake etc.), but Northwave's sizing chart suggests I would need a 44 in their shoes. I don't have anywhere locally to try them on annoyingly, just after any advice coloquially on fit of their shoes.

Yep, Northwave bigger than Shimano. Probably closer to Specialized size if you have experience with any.

If they're anything like they used to be,i'd want to try the exact pair on before buying. I tried a pair of shoes in a 44, fitted perfectly, so ordered the boots in the same size and couldn't get my feet in them. I struggled to get my feet in the 45's that turned up next, and ended up in a pair of 46's. Hopefully, they've sorted themselves out since, and you won't go through the same.

I'm 44 on Shimano, 44 on Spesh, 44 on FiveTen, 44 LG and 45 on winter NW.

I was also on 45 Shimano winter and 44 on winter Spesh.

Cheers!
I.

Just got some NW Clan flats in a 9 and they fit similar to the Adidas Trails they'll be replacing so basically sized as expected.

I wear 45 across all my shes/ boots including several pairs of Northwaves [road and mtb]

The standard fit has always seemed a plus from my perspective

I wear 44 in everything and have two pairs of NW shoes, both 44. They do look longer than my Specialized bike shoes, but seem to fit OK. I guess cycling, being a bit longer, doesn't really matter much (I can't notice it).
