My new bike has Rock Shox Tora SLite forks.
They make a squeaky sort of noise when they travel down.
Is this right?
Or do they need lubing in some way?
Or does it sound something more mechanical?
It's fine it's oil moving around, my SIDs do it.
excuse my typo.
I take it this doesn't happen with air forks?
Its the damping and its perfectly normal.
Yes, SIDs are air.
Ok thanks.
Worry over.
I've noticed this only seems to be the problem when I have the rebound set to slow.
When it's set to fast its quiet.
Yeah thats normal, because when rebounds slow, the oil is doing alot more dampening than when its fast rebound.
only worrie like me if you hear the noise and see oil being brought back out from inside lol :/
