Anybody got one of these?. Werent on my radar until I spotted a vastly reduced one. Look great on paper though the head angle looks a little steep at 70deg. Thoughts or experiences?
Niner know their stuff when it comes to 29ers.

What kind of riding are you looking to do on it? Do you think it would suit it?
Stuff that's been vastly reduced, does so because it's not sold, doesn't mean it's rubbish, but was it over priced to start with, & is it really such a bargain when reduced? (Especially with the like of canyon & yt around)
.. I had a lbs tell me I was obviously wrong about wanting a slack angled 29er, when I rejected the (old) SC Tallboy as too steep...his words 'bike manufacturers know what their doing & so cant be wrong'... I didn't buy one, but lo & behold a year later SC released out two slack(er) 29ers, following the rest of the market.

Only ride xc , odd day away or weekend at trail centres on red stuff. Bit of a mincer really. List was £5799 its now £2499 however its not a current model its 2015 new model now out has guess what slacker head angle etc.
Its only in a large I am 5'11.5" so am right at the start of the sizing. It has some great kit on it and its a looker but there is something niggling me for some reason plus I cant get the Orange Segment out of my head too.

I've in the past found large Niners to be too large (I'm 6') but if you're using a really short stem...maybe...
Daffy...standover issues at all?
I've just gone from an old-style steep head-angled 29er to a much slacker one. I don't think I would want to go back.
I imagine an Orange Segment would be much nicer.
No stand over problems. Also a Works angle headset would drop the HA by 2deg for £70.
Have you seen the [url= http://www.pinkbike.com/news/Niner-RIP-9-RDO-Reviewed-2014.html ]Pinkbike review[/url]? As said above I think it depends on what you want it for, it seems like a great all round bike and 70 degrees seems to be middling ground for a 29er.
I've been tempted by that bike a number of times, lovely looking though I was more tempted by the Pike/X1 build but it seems that has sold out.
