I like the 'only a mother could love' looks. Same reason I like Orange 5s and Alpines.
Nicolais look like they do what they're meant to. And look well made (perceived wisdom is they are).
Money means I just can't stretch to one at the moment, but one day.....in brown with sky blue.

Here's mine plus the bikedog. Apologies for the gopping mudguards but it was a very muddy day...

Anodised Nicolai frames all the way... hence all the Black Ano Nicolai's you see. Boring it may be... but it's a tough finish which is lighter and more hard wearing than paint... and every gram is a prisoner of gravity

Couldn't agree more. My anodised BLT2 still looks fairly pristine despite an embarassingly large number of offs in rocky terrain. The big issue for me though is that the Helius AC is over 1 lb heavier than the Carbon Blur, and the AC 650 is almost 2 lbs heavier. That's fairly significant on a big mountain day

I'm not sure a pound or two takes much difference to how much fun your going to be having on a day out in the hills... but the lighter the better, all other things being equal ๐Ÿ˜†

Really poor quality pic taken as the sun was setting. Even newly rebuilt my bike is still covered in mud 8)

No more black Bombers... just Avalanche Downhill Racing goodies at both ends.

Now I need to get it ridden.

The Hammerschmidt is having a holiday as well... not sure that is going to work out ๐Ÿ˜•

They all look nice don't they, however... However do they do them with normal (29er) wheels?

I particularly like the cammo one for some strange reason.

I really like the look of em. Gotta get a cabbie on one.
I love my Ltc though. I found it a considerably different ride to the alu one.

I really don't like this thread.
I have been looking on German ebay at things I can't afford. Must step away from the keyboard...

It means he hasn't paid for the whole thing and owes money to someone.
