I just bought a Gusset Staff stem. 70mm +/-5 Deg, Alloy 31.8mm, Inc 25.4, 26.0 Shims. Also comes with black and white face plate. 146g for the 60mm so the 70 can't be too heavy!

Looks very nice and shiny too.

To be honest, I'm in the same quandry; I need the same stem myself.

However, I keep coming back to Thomson, for a reason - my 50mm is bloody awesome and reliable (and you can 'dress' them up now with finishing kits).

I really like the Easton Haven stems, but I just can't get over the fact that Thomson just seem to have utterly reliable kit that just works, like, forever.

On One CNC £30 - had one for about a year now, with 711mm bars. Stiff, light and cheap.

Merlin were doing haven for that money. Haven and the latest top end RF look like they took a Thomson, lost some weight, and polished the life out of them. Gorgeous.
